Meeting w RE

so Wed morning i have a meeting w my RE to go over injectables. (mom is coming w me)

Clomid had made my lining too thin and the PA suggested me speaking w the RE for injectables and more possible solutions.

from past experience, any questions i should ask? or things i should know etc??

Does your RE have an injectable class? Before he prescribed me the injectables, I had to go to a 2 hr class in the office. They went over all the different types of meds and stuff. You should ask which one you will be prescribed, is it a pen or you mix it yourself, how to work the pen, any side effects, how fast to inject, how to inject (if you don't already know), what time to take the shot, do the meds need to be refrigerated...etc

I've learned...you can inject any time between 5 and 9, so don't stress if you can't do it at exactly the same time. The abdomen 1 inch away from belly button is best. Alternate injection sites. No stim shot the night of triggers. Once Follistim and Gonal F are at room temp, they expire (28 days for follistim and I think same for Gonal F but it may be a little longer) FM me if you have any questions, happy to help if I can

Oh yea, that's another one lol. What does the med cost and if you don't have coverage do they have any to donate.

ask about femara instead of clomid

will you be doing a iui,TI

using a trigger shot

any tests he might want to run.sa hsg etc etc

I took Gonal F with Dr Brenner and Follistim with the other Dr.
They are so easy... I can show you if you need me too. I did however take ac cLass
I might have a whole pen of Gonal F ill look and let you know!! Keep the pens in the fridge and take them out about 1/2 he before you are injecting.
they say between 5-9 but i could not do that time so mine was 5-10. it all flucuates although i did the same time every night.

I did not know i had to keep these refrigerated. I have two boxes sitting out. I guess I can't use these anymore. I am seriously stress right now.

Unopened they have to be refrigerated. Once they are punctured it is ok to keep at room temp or refrigerated. I would maybe call pharmacist or RE and explain you didn't know it had to be refrigerated and see what they say. Don't stress about meds, that can be fixed

Right on my box of gonal f it says keep refrigerated
Most likely it's not an issue either way
Def ask the pharmacist
I know my old dr said if its cloudy dont use
Anyway
