Meds question-Do I have enough-please help!
Meds were donated to me but not sure if I have enough.
This is my first IVF cycle
I have:
Gonal f 900 iu/1.5 ml (pen) 5 boxes
ganirelix 250 ug/.5ml (single injection) 6 boxes
Menopur 75 iu 3 boxes-this has like 6 vials in each box-3 liquid 3 pwder.
Dr says I will be stimming for 10-12 days

It completely depends on your protocol, but that amount would have been more than enough to cover me during my 10 day stim, with enough to spare!

Thanks! Its the ganirelix that ddoesnt look like enough. Each box has one prefilled syringe. So if I need on for each day, it's def not enough.. but I have no clue
Same with the gonal f pen. But I think I can use it for multiple days and dial up/down the doses.
I need a live in nurse lol

Normally on Ganirelix for a week. Depends on dosage. Think maybe 25 ml. Ive never seen the pre filled syringe, can you twist the needle off? If not you might just need one more.

it completely depends on your issues and your protocol. i was on a unique protocol where i was on ganirelix the entire stim (12 days) since I had high LH and the ganirelix kept it in check as well as held off ovulation.
so i would check with your doctor to see how much they think you need based on your protocol, then you wont have to worry about it!!

I was only on ganirelix for a few days, and went through only one or two syringes. I definitely didn't use one full syringe per day. My instructions involved injecting some of the meds into a vial, then drawing up what I needed with another needle. The amount I used each day was very small.
You can use the gonal for multiple days until the pen runs out.
Check with your doctor's office to find out your protocol and what you need. Everyone is different.
