Meat Sauce
how do you make this? Do you just brown meat with a little onions and then add the sauce?
Do you have any other special touches?

Re: Meat Sauce
Start the Sauce in a large pot: Sautee onions, add garlic, then add cans of tomatoes, water. Season with pepper basil, parlsey, oregano, red wine (no salt at this time).
In a frying pan, fry meats. Add them to the sauce as they are finished.
Add tomato paste (1 can for every can of tomatoes)
Let simmer for 45 minutes then taste. Re-season, this time adding salt (or a pinch of sugar) if needed. Add water to loosen if too thick. Simmer another hour or longer.

Re: Meat Sauce
I cook the meat half way then add the sauce then let it simmer for 30 mins... it becomes so soft...I hate when the meat is so clumpy.
