me and dh are a tad nutty
we want to go to the movies tonight and Applebees (i know, applebees? i just havent been in years)
so ... we're going to drive out to LI to do so.
im like "we can go to downtown brooklyn". dh said no because it is... ghetto/trashy (whichever word you prefer) .... so i was like "ok, well then battery park has both... why waste gas?"
he was like "whats the point of having a car!?"
so, like two complete nutbags, we're coming to LI to get a bite and see a movie.
would be funny if i ran into anyone from here. i always look out when i go to LI.
any movie recomendations?

There's an applebees on Bell Blvd, and I think a movie theater too  It's been a while. And a lot of other bars and restaurants.

There's an applebees on Bell Blvd, and I think a movie theater too It's been a while. And a lot of other bars and restaurants.
Yup! Also, there's a good movie theatre in college point off of the whitestone expressway (ulmer street or something like that.)
BTW, add us to the nutty list. We spend more time on LI than we do in Queens. Plus, I am paranoid of running into students at the movies. Not what I feel like dealing with on a weekend.

Yeap add me and DH to the nutty list too...we're always in LI.
Bell Boulevard Applebees and movie theatre is cool. I reccomend the transformers....great movie!

well if you're heading this way(where i live :) )
Jes, Applesbees just opened up in Westbury!!!! Right by Target in the home depot shopping center
then you can either go to the movies right next to target at Roosevelt Raceway
or
AND THIS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
go to united artist (big comfy reclining seats and less crowded) on brush hollow road. 5 minutes away from applebees
let me know if you want better directions
