maybe it's because i haven't given birth yet...
...but when i watch "i didn't know i was pregnant" i have to wonder--how can women not tell the difference between labor and a bowel movement?

Trust me - there is no mistaking the two!
I can't imagine what kind of BM's these women have had if they can mistake labor for a BM!

I'm not a BTDT mom....
BUT I have done some time in delivery rooms and some moms say that they feel lots of pressure far down below (in addition to contractions) & it feels like they have to make a BM. It happens as the baby descends & enters the bottom of the pelvis. Mom is usually ready to PUSH then.
