how is she growing now?

DS has always been pretty on-target for sizing, maybe a few weeks ahead (he is 11 months and has been in 12 months clothing since 9-10 months). so i would buy the 12-18 month size unless the costume looked big to me.

ETA: just saw it was online.

I think it depends on the child, I'd probably buy 6-12 for MY child b/c he doesn't usually wear clothes that are bigger, but that is MY child!

It depends on the size of clothing they wear. I bought both my girls (DD#1 was 14 months on her second Halloween, and DD#2 was 12 months on her second Halloween) size 18 months.

Both were wearing at least 1 size bigger than their age at 9-10 months.

hmm tough one...first i would have to know if things generally fit big or small there...then i would need to know if the costume is meant to be loose or tighter fitting.
DD generally runs bang on for sizes to the month she is, that being said I wouldnt want the costume to be too snug on her so i may lean towards the 12-18 months jsut so it has some more breathing room...buuuut if its already a baggier costume i might get the 6-12 month since even if it is a little smaller then it should be, it still dosent look too small.

tough one!

my dd is sort of small but i would think to get a costume in a slightly larger size. in october you might need to layer clothing underneath, so you might need some extra room. the end of oct. can be chilly.

ITA that it depends on your child - I'd buy the 12-18 because my kid is huge! Chat Icon

I had her in a 2T dress yesterday and she's only 18 months. Where did my baby go. Chat Icon

Make sure you look at the size chart before your purchase! DS is only 7 months, but I had to buy him the 12-18, because he is 29 1/2 inches. The costumes seem to run small.
