Re: MAY Mommies!
You know that you say that - I just looked at the date - and it was a year ago today that I had my period last before becoming preggo. Wow!! It is amazing how fast that year went by!!!

Re: MAY Mommies!
Wow - it just goes by too fast! It was Labor Day when I had the embryo transfer done. I'll never forget how we got pulled over by some jackazz cop who still gave us a ticket even after DH told him where we were headed . But it makes for a good story to tell Jackson when he's older

DS is not on cereal yet. His next appt is on 9/14 and we were told we'd talk about cereal then.

No cereal yet. He takes 6 oz about every 3 hours.
Who's sleeping through the night? Jackson has been doing pretty well this week - he's been going from around 8:30 or 9pm until almost 5am

Lauren drinks about 5-6 bottles a day, 5-oz. each.
We are not starting her on cereal until she is at least 5 months, we'll see. Her next appt is on 9/26.
Lauren sleeps well, like me She goes in about 8:30-9 p.m. and wakes about 8-8:30

Re: MAY Mommies!
Andrew drinks anywhere from 6 oz to 10 oz. Averaging 8. Every 3-4 hrs. We did start him on cereal. Why? Just look at how much formula he drinks
He was ready. I didn't listen to the ped. Her reasoning didn't make sense to me anyway
Andrew does not sleep through the night. He is always hungry. We are going to have a big boy on our hands
3 months of little sleep is killing me We have our rare occasions though to catch up on sleep.

Re: MAY Mommies!
Can't believe they're 3 mos already. Sleeping through the night since about 6 weeks. First she was doing 7 hour stretches, now it's up to around 10 hours. No cereal or solids yet of any kind. Still BFing, trying to hang on. She doesn't gain much weight though which is a constant source of worry for me so we may be converting soon to ease my mind.

Did adding the cereal help with sleep? I've heard that it does from other people.

Re: MAY Mommies!
OMG! Where did the time go??? Can you believe we were all preggo this time last year?
Gracie is sleeping through the night (THANK GOD!!!!!!), cooing, laughing, and eating her hands. She also holds her feet with her hands when I change her diaper and giggles. I think it is the most adorable thing EVER!
You know everyone told me that once you hit the three month mark it becomes easier, that was true for us. Lack of sleep for three months was making DH & I NUTS. We were two crazy people who were at each others throats, bargaining with each other to see who would get up to put her binky in a 3AM.
For all of the preggos out there and those ladies who just gave birth, IT WILL GET BETTER!! You and your DH will have a "new normal" and get into a routine. DD goes to sleep at 9:30PM and DH & I shut off the TV and hang out for an hour before bed. Just this small change has made ALL the difference in our marriage and our new life with Gracie. When you are in it (the first three months) it feels like there is no end in sight but it gets so much better! Trust me!
