I got a full size bed from Sleepys. I got a firm but its almost sorta pillowtopish but not. So its not overly firm. Their bodies are not heavy enough to really do what an adult would do to a bed so it should last a very long time. I forgot the name of the line I got from Sleepys but it was almost their top of the line brand with the newer type of foils that are individually encased or something. We spent $400 I believe. I got it for 50% off plus some negotiation lol It included the bunkie board. I did this instead of a low profile because my daughters bed is a platform bed and I didnt want it too high. Bunkie board is very flat so it doesnt raise the bed too much.
Weve been VERY happy with it so far and its been almost a year. Absolutely no issues at all. I used the Regalo double swing down bed rails which I also LOVE! Since they swing down it makes changing the sheets super easy.

We bought my dd's full size mattress from bjs. It is actually really comfortable and a good level of firmness. And it was only around $250!!
Eta: no box spring or it would've been impossible to get on. We just laid a bunch of wood planks across the bottom for support.
