maternity tankini question

im buying a bunch of stuff from oldnavy.com right now and i figure i should buy a bathing suit since im due in july. all of my friends and i are beach girls (we grew up in Long Beach), and im sure ill make it down there at least once or twice before arrives and hopefully a few times after!!

so my question is - if im buying a basic maternity tankini - do i need to buy the top and the bottom as maternity?? the maternity bottom just seems overprices, since it looks just like a regular bikini bottom. im assuming ill need to buy it anyway cause by then ill be HUGE but im just curious whether it matters, if they are designed any differently specifically for maternity.

If you look in my album I just posted pics of myself in a maternity suit from last week in Aruba.
Yes, I did buy the bottoms as well. My butt got a little bigger.
However... what I did do was buy 1 brown bottom and I got 2 similiar color tankini tops so I was able to use the bottoms for both. There's a lot of styles like that. Maybe get one black bottoms and then by two tankini tops that a a solid black bottom would go with

I ended up buying 3 maternity tankinis when I was preggo with DD, it just fit better and allowed the room to grow! DD was born in August and I bought them in the beginning of the summer.

i actually this bought a tankini on monday, I had to get the maternity bottoms, the regs were too tight, and I haven't even gained much weight, so I would go with them.
I guess my butt is bigger than I thought hahaha
