Maternity support belt
Yay or nay? Any brand recommendations? These babies are too heavy to carry and it hurts to stand for even just 10 minutes.

Yay! Saved my life when I was pg with DD. I got one from Destination Maternity. It was about $30.

Re: Maternity support belt
I'm reading reviews and some say they roll down when sitting. Which one did you get? There was one that had a strap across the top belly that looked bulky. But then the other alternative was a thin one that reviewers said rolled. I saw some seamless ones but I'm not sure if it's going to be pointless. I tried my be band and it did nothing. It's a med/lg too so it should be tight. Just no support.

Re: Maternity support belt
I'm 27 weeks and expecting and was having the same problems as you. Horrible back pain and my stomach felt SO heavy that I couldn't be on my feet for more than a few minutes without having to sit. I'm still having a hard time but my OB recommended that I get a supportive maternity belt to help "hold up" my belly and take some of the weight/pressure off of my cervix. I got this one from destination maternity and have been happy with it for the past few weeks. Definitely feel a difference when wearing it. I don't always use the top strap that goes around the top of the belly (don't really think I need it) but the other two pieces provide back pain relief and help lift up my belly a bit more. I got it at the destination maternity by Roosevelt Field and tried on two sizes to see which one was better.

Re: Maternity support belt
Thank! This is the one I was looking at. I'm surprised my dr never mentioned it would take pressure off my cervix since my baby A is always sittin ON my cervix and shortening it. Oddly i dont have back pain yet. I'll have to call the one in south shore mall to see if they have them. I'm glad you don't need to use the top belt. It looks awkward.
Do you wear it over a tank or under clothes? Im wondering if it is bulky under clothes.

Maternity support belt
I've been wearing it under clothes - but I pretty much wear the same outfit everyday in the summer - HA! I wear a thinner tank, put the belt over that, and then throw another tank on top. I don't think it would be comfortable on your skin, so definitely over some material. I try and hide it, and people have commented that they don't know I'm wearing it. It's not as difficult to hide as I thought it would be.

Re: Maternity support belt
Hmm. I wonder I'd I can put it over the be band. I don't mind seeing it a bit if im running to target but I want it for my shower this weekend. I'm wearing a dress and I know I'll be on my feet more than I should be.

I used the one with the strap across the belly, but never wore the strap when I was pregnant with my I thought it really helped. I bought it at motherhood maternity
