Maternity spanx

I'm the maid of honor in my friend's wedding in 2 weeks and I'm seriously thinking of wearing maternity spanx. I bought the dress before I was pregnant and have my fitting tomorrow to see how it will look after she altered it. I'm so nervous that it won't be big enough. Anyway, has anyone bought them before? How did they feel? Where did you get them?

I got them at Destination Maternity to wear to a wedding when I was 26 weeks. They were great- they smooth you out and don't put pressure on your belly at all. I got the ones that stop at your thigh so you don't look like you are wearing hosiery at all....

Eh - they are ok - for me they were way to big to make any kind of difference - I used them this time around at only 12 wks for a wedding but when I was pg with my DS I was about 23.5 wks - and both times they rolled down from the top b/c they were too big and I bought the smallest size. And, im not super skinny - just averaged sized!

ETA: Both times bought them at pea in the pod - once in nyc and once in LI.

Thanks! I just need to get through the wedding! I'll be exactly 6 months. I will try them on and see what happens.

i ordered them thru amazon...i love them...they are surprisingly comfortable and dont put any pressure on the belly

I also wore one during my sister's wedding when I was 7 months pregnant and I liked it. It smoothed everything out but puts no pressure on the belly.

I have two versions - i have the one that stops at mid thigh and they also have one that goes past the knees that you can wear with pants.

I bought mine at pea in a pod in NYC.
