Maternity Pics - what to wear

I'm doing a maternity shoot with Summer Lyn on May 5th. I'm going to reach out to her in the next week or so to see if she recommends any specific types of clothing/ outfits but I figured I'd get some ideas on here first . What did you girls bring to wear? Did your photographer give you any tips or ideas for what photographs best? What did your DH wear?

Most photographers recommend solid colors. Black and white are the best. Avoid anything too loud or busy patterns. The focus is on your belly so make sure you wear something fitted that will really make it stand out.

I brought a bra and panty set (for the naughtier style photos), my dh's button down dress shirt (this worked great in pics), Jeans, a white tank top and a black v neck sweater (I love black- it's so slimming!!!)

Have a manicure/pedicure or paint your own nails if you can. They will show up in photos. I was barefoot the entire shoot. Also bring some props!!! They add something fun to the photos. I brought blocks to spell her name, baby booties and a Sono pic!

i have my shoot on the 23rd. my photographer told me jeans, white tank, heels if i can. i think im also going to bring a black shirt as well.

she also told me baby blocks, sono picture, green ribbon (we're ), a shirt that says bump (which i have a similar shirt with a bump phrase), finger paint, a story book, shoes, anything else baby related
