Maternity Dresses
Where is the best place to look for maternity dresses, like for a wedding? I have a wedding in December but I'm picky so I want to start looking now. TIA!

Re: Maternity Dresses
I think it will be hard to look now b/c you have no idea how big you will be in december.
That being said, most of my dresses were not maternity. I found regular dresses that were empire or would just work with my belly.

Re: Maternity Dresses
i know you said you're picky but i would honestly hold off a couple of months... your body is going to change so much and you have no idea what will look good on you at that point. with that said, try destination maternity. they'll get plenty of new stuff between now and then too so keep checking! gl!

Re: Maternity Dresses
I probably should have been more clear. I don't intend on buying anything now, I just want to check out some websites and see what's out there. Whenever I look for dress for an event it always takes me a LONG time to find something I like so I can only imagine being pregnant will make it even worse. I figure if I start looking now by the time December rolls around I'll know what I want.
Thanks for the advice though!

Re: Maternity Dresses
Def. destination maternity.
I like non-maternity dresses, but they tend to make me look fat... not pregnant.
Beware though...my chest (breasts) grew a lot throughout my pregnancy, so I'd recommend waiting or buying a size larger than what fits now.

Re: Maternity Dresses
If you need a fancy dress, Honey Due in Woodbury had some nice things. I also got some nice dresses at asos.com

Re: Maternity Dresses
If you don't mind shopping online and just want to look, check out asos.com. They have beautiful maternity dresses. I have a wedding in September and plan on ordering a dress (or 2) from there. I'm just waiting until I get a little closer to the wedding because I feel like my body is changing so much week to week that I'm not sure what I'm going to want to wear.
