Re: Maternity cloths
I buy everything on sale. I do. Luckily I work in a casual office, so I can wear jeans & casual shirts. I'd say I've spent maybe $300, but I have bought 7 sweaters, 4 tanks, 3 shelf tanks, 9 pairs of pants/jeans, one dress suit, and 4 dresses.
Old Navy maternity sale rack is amazing

Re: Maternity cloths
I bought some hand me down maternity clothes this time around and had some from DD is say i have spend about $350 total over my two pg's.
I only buy maternity stuff on sale or on clearance and i only shop at gap, old navy and motherhood. No high end pricey maternity clothes for me, there's no value in it for me.

Re: Maternity cloths
I bought everything at Target. I think the most expensive stuff was $28. I bought a winter coat at Gap on sale for $50.00 The rest is usually below $20.00 for pant (sales) and $10.00 for tops (sales).

Re: Maternity cloths
Not much. Maybe $150 max?
I was lucky to be able to borrow a lot of clothes from my friends/relatives since they are done having kids.

Re: Maternity cloths
Too much and none of it fits now! All my shirts are getting to short and my pants too tight. I bought a lot at Old Navy. I probably spent about $500 there. Now I need spring stuff though and I hate to spend more money since I'm due May 1st.

Re: Maternity cloths
Probably about 300-400 although many people gave me $ for Christmas for this purpose. I still have to get some spring/summer clothes though

Re: Maternity cloths
I haven't spent much so far, but thats because everything I got at 13 weeks still fits me now at almost 23. Total about 200.00 and I've gotten 2 jeans, 2 capris, and about 15 random shirts. I really don't think I will need any bigger pants, so I only anticipate spending another 200 when my shirts get too tight.

Re: Maternity cloths
I've probably spent $200 so far this pregnancy, but haven't been able to use much from my last pregnancy (I worked in a different work setting and can't wear much now :( )

I think I'm close to that too! Once I start buying something, I can't stop myself!! And things that fit in the beginning, don't fit now, so I had to buy more. And I wasn't able to borrow anything from anyone! But I love my clothes and get complements all the time, so it's worth it

Re: Maternity cloths
When I found out I was pregnant I went out and hit some sales racks as I knew I would be pregnant in the summer - I stocked up on some items at Old Navy - I got tops and shorts for around 4.99 or so - so I didn't spend too much - I only bought about four items at full price (two pairs of pants from Lane Bryant and two pairs of jeans from Motherhood) My winter coat was on sale for $30 - the other items I wore this winter were also on sale - so I actually spent very little overall. Plus I justify it as I will need the items again when I am pregnant with my next baby.

Re: Maternity cloths
I've spent about $675-I've been keeping track b/c I thought a book I read was out of hand when it said you'd probably spend around $1,000. I was able to borrow some maternity clothes from a friend of mine but a lot of them are size XL and I have been wearing M. I kept some stuff I thought I might like for when I get bigger.
