Maternity clothes

I am going to be TTC sometime this year. I am also in the process of losing weight and am wondering if you ladies can help me decide if I should get rid of clothes that are too big for me or hold onto them? For example, does it make sense to hold onto sweats that are a size or two too large? What about regular pants? I am beginning to think that it may just be more comfortable wearing maternity clothes?

Re: Maternity clothes

Maternity clothes are kinda expensive. I would save the clothes that you are a size above in during those inbetween stages where you want to unbutton ur pants and stuff. Save the money and buy something for your baby :)

Re: Maternity clothes

definitely hang on to those sweat pants!!

I lost about 20 lbs before getting pregnant, but honestly did not go back into my larger sized pants- i went right to the maternity- they were just a lot more comfortable then the pants that were just too big... however, i also did not get rid of them in case the baby weight prooves to be hard to lose...

Re: Maternity clothes

I would definitely hold on to the larger size clothes.

Maternity clothes are super expensive and you're going to have an in-between stage where your regular clothes are too small but maternity clothes might be too big still.
