Maternity clothes
I know this topic has come up recently, but were you wearing maternity clothes at the end of your first trimester? I will be just starting my second trimester and I have a huge observation the beginning of March that I will need to wear a suit for. Do you think that I should buy something maternity? Thanks!

Re: Maternity clothes
I had the same thing happen - I was resisting by maternity clothes but by 11/12 weeks my pants were just way too uncomfortable, so I broke down and bought a couple dress slacks for work and some tops to cover my growing bod.
It's important to be comfortable (I try to remind myself of this - since I've resisted by more maternity clothes) you won't be able to concentrate at work if your clothes just don't fit.
There're lots of reasonable places to get work maternity clothes and if you don't want to over do just get a pair of pants or skirt or two.

Re: Maternity clothes
If I can remember correctly I was wearing them around that time...mostly pants. Once I switched over there was no turning back becasue they were soooo much more comfortable!!

Re: Maternity clothes
I was definitely wearing maternity pants and jeans, but normal shirts tended to fit. I happened to inherit a lot of blouses from friends, so I did wear those. But, if I hadn't I wouldn't have needed to buy anything quite yet.

Re: Maternity clothes
If this is your first then you might not be in maternity clothes by then, if anything you may need the pants. You could buy black pants and just go with a nice top and a black jacket with it.

Re: Maternity clothes
I started wearing a Bella Band at 14/15 weeks when I couldn't button my pants. Some of my pants lasted until 18 weeks. At 21 weeks I went maternity shopping.
