Maternity business suits?
Having difficulty here......went to Destination Maternity in Carle Place, because the one in Huntington suggested I go there for a better selection of business suits. I bought one, and hate it.......hate the look, the way it fits, the materials.....
Ugh.
Ideally I need at least one if not two more suits to get thru to May. I'm totally not a dress person, but will go there in the spring.
Any secrets or suggestions of other stores to check?

Try Honey Due in Woodbury. There is also a store in the city - Veronique Maternity. Was supposed to go this weekend but they were closed for inventory. I am trying to go next weekend, so let me know if you want an update.
The suits from Destination Maternity do not fit me either - they are made for women that are toward the end of their pregnancy and fit awkward when you have a small bump.
In the meantime, I have been wearing my old suit jackets unbuttoned.

When I had a small bump, like pp said, I kept my jacket unbuttoned. I got a few loose blouses that I could wear underneath, and nobody even knew. I never went for a maternity suit, because I need a tall jacket, which is hard enough to find when not pregnant. Luckily I'm able to get away with cardigans a lot.

Is Mimi Maternity still in Roosevelt Field? That's where I got one of my suits when I was pregnant. It was pricey, but definitely the best option I saw. I went to a lot of stores looking for maternity suits, but didn't have great luck. I was also able to find some separates at a Destination Maternity near me.

I saw some nice suits on Figure 8 Maternity
I'm just not sure how they will fit. They are kind of expensive too if it's not on sale (I'm a huge hit the rack shopper for my regular Tahari suits so this is annoying to me.)
