Re: Master Bedroom (new poll)
i vote bamboo or carpet
reposting my reply
IMO, the flooring in all the bedrooms should be the same (hardwood, bamboo or carpet. not a fan of pergo). Deciding on which is a personal preference. I prefer the softness and warmth of carpet in bedrooms but the hardwood in my home was in perfect condition so I just added area rugs to all rooms.
If you opt for wall to wall carpet, I would splurge for something of high and long lasting quality.
eta: can you edit the poll to read, pergo, bamboo or carpet? not sure how others percieve but IMO pergo (faux) is VERY different than bamboo (natural).

Re: Master Bedroom (new poll)
I voted carpet. JMO, but if you have hardwood in the other parts of the house, it will be very difficult to match in your master bedroom.
I think the Pergo will look fake since there is real hardwood in the rest of the house.
I like carpet in the bedroom anyway, it will probably be cheaper than Pergo and it feels nice on your feet

I'm a fan of carpet in the bedrooms, even if the rest of the house has hardwood/bamboo/tile, etc.

Re: Master Bedroom (new poll)
I have hardwood floors in my Master Bedroom. I do love the warmth of carpet but I look of wood flooring. Maybe do Bamboo and then put a nice area rug in there.

Re: Master Bedroom (new poll)
We went to the house today and realized we are not doing the floors until probably winter in that room. We have to do the exterior work, put a doorway into the new master, figure out if we are going to get rid of the "loft" area on top of the master to make it a full cathedral or keep it for storage/mini hang out spot.
At that time which ever will be cheaper bamboo or good but not amazing grade carpet that is what we will do.
I got a be overwhelmed for the first time with all the work.LoL

Re: Master Bedroom (new poll)
Take it all one step at a time Jenn. You might change your minds by Nov./Dec. Figure out prices and all of that when you are ready to do the flooring. When we have thought we had made decisions about a room or something else in the house, when it comes time to do that, we sometimes have changed our minds. GL!
