Massages while preg?
Are the OK or not?
I was never compelled to have one with DS, but this time around my back is killing me and I'm getting killer stiff necks.
This is a tough preg

everything I've read says they are great during pregnancy! I would just stay away from the deep tissue massages. You dont want to be even more sore and miserable than you may already be!

the first trimester is a no no - but after that you are good to go....
you can still get deep tissue if you want it - you just can't lay flat on the table (unless they have the special maternity tables)...

I have gotten a ton of massages..
First trimester you cannot get one, and they must be pre-natal-- where the therapist is trained to massage a pregnant woman.

I had one and it was soooo good! It was done by a friend, mom of 4, and I did not lay flat on my stomach (about 14 weeks at the time) I was kind of on my left side with my right knee up so she can work on my back which is where I needed it most! Can't wait to go again!
Just make sure they've massaged pregnant women before.

i had a prenatal massage 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. I highly recommend it.
