Martha's Vineyard in May?
DH and I want to getaway for a couple of night's in early May. He mentioned Martha's Vineyard. Is it still quiet in May? I've never been so I want to really experience it. Would after memorial day be better?

I can only speak for Nantucket, but I still think it would be dead and a lot of stores and restaurants may not be open yet. The beaches will def be too cold unless we get some crazy heat wave. The season is Memorial Day/Labor Day, but obviously busier in July august.

Lots won't be open. It will be kinda ghost townish. And it will still be pretty chilly
