Maple trees
Anyone know what could be causing the maple trees in my neighborhood to be dying? They all have black looking trunks and look like the top branches are dying first. They are all 30 years old about. I just thought about it again because the dead branches keep falling with these storms. I'd love to be able to save ours, but I can't figure out what it is.

I would hire an arborist, but it sounds like they all have a fungus which may be fatal to them.
