Mam bottles
Anyone using them that can tell me how many parts there are to clean and if they are a pain? Currently using tommee's but my son is gulping air it seems and is burping/spitting up/vomiting even when im burping every ounce. He doesnt do it every bottle and he rarely does it when I breastfeed instead of giving pumped milk which makes me think its the bottle. I used Dr browns for my oldest but they were such a pain to clean everyday!

Re: Mam bottles
I used 1 for DS. Its a few pieces - never a pain to me. The bottom cap, the ring on top, the bottle itself, the ring with the nipple.

I use them for DS after he had a hard time with the platex dropins i had from DD. The MAM has two pieces on the bottom, the body of the bottle, the nipple and the nipple ring. Washing it hasnt bothered me at all. No little areas that you cant get to.

Yup...my DS did great with them. The nipple is much smaller and he could drink with out chugging.

I recently tried them with Lila bc I was looking for a smaller nipple but the milk was pouring out when I tipped it towards her mouth. Too much dribble so they were a bust.

These were the ONLY bottles that DD had success with. She has such a strong sucking reflex that she collapsed the nipples on all other brand bottles. The venting ring at the bottom allows air to flow through as they are drinking to prevent an air vacuum from occurring. I never found them hard to clean. Everything is top rack dishwasher safe -- we bought one of those dishwasher baskets for bottle parts. The most annoying thing is that they are only carried in Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby doesn't have them. You can, however, order different varieties directly from the MAM website or Amazon.

Silly question but for those that use them-do you warm them with a regular bottle warmer? I'm nervous that the hot water will seep in the bottom bottle ring

Re: Mam bottles
We use MAM binkies and we used a sippy but never tried a regular bottle. We use Lansinoh mOmma and they're awesome. Only parts to clean are the bottle, the nipple, and the ring the nipple goes into.
