Making bathtime fun?
Victoria is very good in the tub - but I'm trying to get her to enjoy being in there. She will laugh and smile when I was her hair and sing "I'm gonna wash that man right outta my hair" but other than that she's not very playful in there. I have a few toys in the tub with her but they are not specifically bath related toys. She'll watch them float in the water even if I try putting them in her hands or just floating near her. I also try taking her hands and splashing the water to show her how much fun it is, but she really doesn't seem interested in continuing on her own. Could it be an age thing? She's almost 7 months.
I do sing other songs while I bathe her, but I'm looking to make it a much better experience for both of us. Any ideas?
TIA

DS gets cold very quickly so I don't bathe him too long. He is not playing yet in his bath.
He will be 8 months next week.

Donna..even now Gianna has her good and bad and Like poster above..she hates the cold so I make them quick.
Sometimes she loves it, plays with the water..other times she is crying, grabbing on to me to get out.

Bryan loves the bath as well. I sing to him and read. They make soft books that can get wet. If he gets cold quick I'll just stick to the singing and out we go. He LOVES to splash. My shirt is always wet. LOL.
