Makeup question...
Over the summer I took a class with a girl and I commented on her makeup- it was so perfectly blended. She recommended this kind of thing she puts on her eyes before the eyeshadow. Does anyone know what she's talking about? I coulda sworn it sounded like Mac - but it wasn't the high-end MAC cosmetics line because I asked her that...her makeup looked very MAC to me.
So anyone know what I'm talking about? TIA!

I know sephora has eyeliner primer..
But are you asking for a brand that sounds like MAC but is cheaper? Is it MAX Factor? They sell it at drug stores..

I use the mac eye shadow primer
I use 2 coats on each eye and my eye showdow looks perfect all day!

I didn't have time to really search so I picked up an Almay concealer that doubles as an eye base. Hope it does the trick- wanted to try different color eyeshadow for my concert tomorrow.

I'm allergic to MAC, Urban Decay, Studio Gear, and a lot of other prestige cosmetics brands... I usually just dab some concealor on top of my eyelids and that works just as well as an eyeshadow base for me!

Interesting! I tried some eyelid primer from Sephora, I think it was Urbun Decay actually and my eye lids got super itchy...
The same thing happened when I used eye shadows that my SIL got me for my birthday. It was Estee Lauder, a beatiful set too
Yet I have been wearing Clinique eye shadows for years and nothing ever happens. I also wear Chanel and Lancome shadows and never have any issues...
