Makeup
I need to get all new make-up and would love to go somewhere where someone can show me how to apply it.
Any suggestions? I think I need a change from what I currently use - which is not much at all!

i thought the makeup artists at MAC were the best - they are not at all pushy and really listen to what you want to do (dramatic, subtle, etc.)
and if you spend i think around $50 the makeover itself is free. i can spend that much at MAC easily and i love love love their makeup.

I love Bare Escentuals...
I learned how to apply on the computer - I got an Estee Lauder CD at their counter about 8 yrs ago. It showed me how to contour my eye shadow and things like that.
I'm sure Bare Escentuals can show you how to apply as well - I believe there's a store in the Roosevelt Field mall.
Or you can just youtube 'make-up application'...

There is a Mac in smithaven now too. It by the exit that goes out into the new outside area in the back of borders.

I agree with MAC... I have super sensitive eyes, and MAC is the only makeup that doesn't bother me.
If you go to the MAC in Smithaven, there's a man who works there who wears the heavy eyeliner and foundation. He knows what he's talking about
