Make-up**Updated- Went to Sephora today!!**
I am looking to ditch all my old make-up and start from scratch (A belated bday gift from DH).
Can you recommend somewhere to go?
All I can think of is...
-MAC
-Macys (Clinque, Estee Lauder, etc)
I don't want to spend alot of money, but don't want to just hit the drug store counters either. PS I do not wear make-up all the time, but want to at the very least get staple items (consealer, foundation, mascara, blush and lipstick/gloss)

UPDATE:
Finally got to Sephora today, bought the Bare Escentuals "bareMinerals" starter kit along with the brush cleaner. I also bought the Smashbox "Masters Class Vol2" which has a bronzer/Blush, eye shadow set (w/ 3 colors) and a lipgloss set (w/ 3 shades). It also came with a travel foundation primer, kabuki brush and shadow brush. Also bought a mashbox mascara.
VERY happy with my purchases!! My mom bought the bareEscentuals starter kit too, she said she used it everyday and it laster her 1 yr!

Absolutely! And Ulta!
And FYI, Sephora lets you return makeup if you don't like it. My sister does it all the time!

ulta does too  i do it all the time. makes it a lot easier to try things out..

I love Bare Minerals. They have a store in Roosevelt Field, and they really are helpful! They will pick the colors for you and try on anything you want! My skin never looked so good!!!

I suggest Bare minerals also.......Esp if you don't normally wear make-up. It's very light and covers well. Don't be discouraged by the foundation. At first I thought I had no coverage but then I added warmtha dn mineral veil and ♥ the final product. You can buy this on Sephora also, ad n I HIGHLY suggest Sephora!!!!! I also love Smashbox and pholosopy(?) make-up. It's reasonable and you can buy face wash and so forth. Try the makeup optional kit...my sister loves it and rearely uses make-up now. Also with Sephora you get free samples with your order. Good Luck, Enjoy and post pics! I may need to "spring clean" my make-up soon
