Make-up Question
So I've always been into make-up, but now really getting into techniques and stuff. I've seen people use a contour, blush, and highlight on their cheeks. What is the purpose? What is the difference and how do I use these? What products do I use?
Thank you!

Re: Make-up Question
Contouring is used to emphasize & downplay certain parts of the face. It is most commonly use to make a face look thinner. Dark colors recede, and light shimmery colors highlight. SO,m you can you a mate color a little darker than your skin tone under your cheekbone & it will make it look a little more recessed, and then blush for color, an highlighter on the top of your cheek bones to make them more pronounced.
If you have a thinner face, or pronounced cheekbones, you probably don't want to do this.
You can also do this around the jawline & nose to emphasize & de-emphasize certain areas. Just blend well.
