The stuff is not that expensive. I usually only use the face powder, but I know people who love the other products as well. I have had my make-up done at Bare Escentuals but the girl did it for free. I kept trying to say "But I'll buy something!" and she wouldn't have it so I gave her a $20 tip. But I wasn't TOO crazy about how the make-up turned out anyway. It was nice but nothing special. HTH!

Re: make up at bare escentuals..

I LOVE bare minerals. I have problematic skin, so I was scared to try it for years because I didn't think it would be enough coverage, but I think it is the best make-up out there. It looks even and natural and I love the pigment you get with their eyeshadows. The powder foundation runs $26 and it lasts around 3 months. If you get your make-up done and you like it, I would get the starter kit. It is around $60 but it comes with the foundation, mineral veil, an eye powder, and the brushes you need.

HTH!

Oh yeah- the starter kit is perfect. I looooove the brushes it comes with.

I am not a fan - if my skin get the least bit oily it starts to look like it's sliding off my face, even when I used their primerChat Icon

Queens center mall! They have a Bare Escentuals store.

I use the make-up. The initial outlay might be a little $$ but it lasts for SO long.

Check out QVC - they have some different kits. You can also get it at Ulta and Sephora.

The BE stores used to have a value shopper card (spend $ get $) but I'm not sure if they still do.

Its the only makeup I will use. I have really crazy skin and EVERYTHING clogs my pores but I seriously love their makeup. Go to the mall and let them do it for you- if you like it then just try the starter kit. Its about $60 and its well worth it!

They have a rewards card. I went to the outlet in Delaware recently and got the card.
