Magna tiles Q.
So DS is turning 5 soon and he loves playing with his magna tiles at school so I am going to buy him a set for his birthday...those things are expensive!! anywhere other than amazon cheaper?
Do you think the 48 piece set will be enough or should I spring the $120 for 100 pieces?
TIA

I researched this product and found all prices to be the same unless you are fortunate enough to find them second hand.
I would buy the 100 piece without a doubt. We started out with the 48, and quickly had to add to it as we couldn't build much with the 48.

Maybe check Ebay, I've gotten lucky before with new items at much better prices!

Definitely get the 100. It's one of the only toys that my 2.5 and 6 year old both really play with and haven't gotten bored with--it's been more than a year already! I actually ended up getting another 100 piece set.
If you don't mind getting Magforms or another brand, I've seen them on sites like Zulily for cheaper if you have the time to wait.
