made my first RE appt

Hello ladies. DH and I have been ttc for 6 months and we aren't getting anywhere. I am 38 and DH is 37. I called this morning and made an appt with an RE for the end of April. A few months back my GYN did bloodwork to confirm I was Oing after coming off bcp. They told me all my levels were fine and I was Oing. With the bloodwork out of the way, what should I expect at my first visit?

Welcome to the IF board. I hope your stay here is short! You will find this a wonderful, supportive place. The ladies on here are amazing!!

At your first appointment, they will probably take a few vials of blood, take a looong medical history for you and DH, and order some more tests (HSG, CD3 bloodwork).

I was really nervous about my first appointment and even cried when I made it. (Like most of us, not a place I ever expected to be.) I sat and spoke to the doctor for a while about treatment and drugs options and what the first steps would be after they got the results of my tests.

I feel so much better already to know how you reacted to making the appt. I am glad I am not alone in the thought of how did I get here
I am seeing Dr. Kleiner who was recommended to me by my GYN. I feel better knowing I am doing something to help me on this journey
