Made my first OB appointment
3 weeks from today (1/26/09)...I will be 7w,1d. Should we be able to hear the heartbeat then?
I am SO excited, I am sure these next 3 weeks are going to drag.....

The heartbeat usually starts around 6 weeks. I had my first ultrasound at 6weeks6days and i got to see the heartbeat! Good luck.

I would say yes!
We saw the heartbeat at 6w4d, then heard it at 7w4d.

congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'll be the one to say maybe.. if your calculations are off by even a few days, it changes things, but you should at least be able to SEE it....

i'll be the one to say maybe.. if your calculations are off by even a few days, it changes things, but you should at least be able to SEE it....
I was on clomid, my calculations are right on...I know when I ovulated, I know when I concieved.

Okey doke - i just worry....i knew when i ovulated too - because the doc told me point blank, not yet....so i had a 3 day window. they had me down as a 'probable loss' because they didn't see what they wanted to WHEN they wanted to.... just trying to protect ya is all... that was the longest 3 days of my life.....waiting to go back to the RE.

no I get it I was just curious when to expect to hear the HB, I do not remember from my last pregnancy

yay!!!!!  1/26 is my b-day! and I'll be just as far along as you I think at my appt. this Saturday (I think I'll be 7w2d). So I'll keep you posted with what we see/hear.

no more blurriness, must've been from my contacts. I am going for an eye exam in a few weeks so maybe a need a new prescription
