mad men 6/2 (spoilers)
Im shocked no one was discussing this yet!!!
What did everyone think of Don's blackout experience on hash. Is Megan dead? We saw him talk to her on the phone and say "goodbye"... then when he returned from his trip he asked Dawn to "get his wife on the phone" as if he hadnt spoken to her.
I did see her in the previews for next weeks episode, but dont know what to think about that.
Any new theories on Bob Benson??

mad men 6/2 (spoilers)
I thought Don's blackout and everything after were the best parts of the episode. I was really hoping for more on BB and was thoroughly disappointed and thrown off when he wasn't carrying a coffee cup in any of his scenes. I cracked up when Ginsburg asked him if he was a homo b/c I know that was one of the theories.

I didn't like the whole drug party nonsense--I feel like it's every other episode now. I know it was the late 60's, but we get it.
I did like Pete's flip out about the order of things being disrupted & how that wasn't just about new business.
I feel like they are going to do a storyline with someone getting drafted soon.
Maybe Ginsburg?

I think I died when he said that 
Bob was listening to a self help record was epic, and gives another little tid bit as to who he is. Him ultimately ending up on the Chevy accnt was mind boggling, but makes me think he is the new embodiment of the business world - the sleek guy - highly educated, not afraid to kiss up and knowing what is the right thing to say by using psichology.
I keep feeling bad for Pete. He just cannot get a break. Tho I agreed with him in the end, there is a way of doing things when u work with ppl, and eventho Joan did get the meeting, this was no way to go about it. She didnt tell anyone that she would like to take a more active part in the accnts and just thought she can do it. because why?
Ginsburg having a nervous breakdown was awesome. And especially Jim telling him off for being a hypocrite.
great episode!

Can we talk about the last scene?? Pete smoking that joint, the girl in the yellow skirt walking by, Janis playing.... OMG. SO incredibly perfect. As much as I love me some Jon Hamm and Christina Hendricks, Vincent Kartheiser is my favorite actor on the show. He's amazing.

He is excellent, and I think often overlooked because Pete is a less popular character, but he does ha fantastic job making him that unpopular guy. I love the way he speaks.

I think Joan didn't know really know that was what she wanted until the opportunity fell in her lap and she realized she could do it. She & Peggy did try & tell Peter that she should be at the meeting, even if Pete was there too, but he wouldn't listen.
What I want to know was why did Joan think her first lunch with the Avon guy was a date? Isn't she still married?

Pete is one of my favorite characters on the show -- and not because I 'like' him.
He's just such a great character. He's a complete slime - and yet, somehow... they make me feel bad for him.
Remember last year when people were theorizing that he was going to kill himself?
Loved the ending of this episode and all the stuff with Don's blackout. Can't wait to see what it all means.

That's what I keep on asking myself! I feel like it was implied that she was and he seems to have been moving on from her emotionally and physically for some time...

That's exactly how I feel as well! Despite all the slime, he makes me feel for him! He is just so.. human!

Pete is the most realistic character from day one
As for all the recreational drug that was all part of the late 60's in the canyon for a lot of people.
I assumed Megan would die again when he saw her at the party,,,another death, another lost identity
