Macy's "WorryNoMore" Furniture Protection

I usually decline product warranties as I either don't use them or they have lots of restrictions.

We bought a couch yesterday from Macy's and the salesman was obviously try to get us to buy the 7 year furniture warranty "WorryNoMore." He said that we could really use it with the baby on the way and that stains are covered. I have until the day the couch is delivered to make up my mind so am going to wait.

I googled the program and there are tons of consumer complaints but of course I don't see the good customer experiences, only the bad.

Has anyone had experience with Macy's WorryNoMore?

Ha. Funny you should post this now. We bought it for our outdoor patio set. We had an issue and tried to use it but what we needed wasn't even covered. Fast forward to the end of the warranty. They have a policy that "gives you back" the cost of the warranty if you don't use it. Well we didn't use it even though we did need it but it wasn't covered. The "give back" is a Macy's gift card and a few months later I'm still fighting to even receive that.

Now...I have a warranty on dd2s chair and ottoman. The chair got dirty, called the company and within days they had a professional company come in and clean the chair to perfection at no cost. It's a guardian plan. It's a cleaning kit you buy but if you can't clean it out yourself they send a professional cleaner. And if they can't get it out they replace it!

I had it and when I needed it, I had no problems. I would definitely recommend it.

Totally recommend it! It wasn't that expensive for us when we bought a sectional a few years ago. They have come to sew a loose string and countless times have come to clean up between baby pee and spit up. The spot treat cleaner didn't do that good of a job. Also our cat had an anxiety issue when ds came and crapped on couch and took out stain and odor.

Thanks guys! This is good to know. So maybe it is worth it, especially with our baby on the way.

Baby spit up/pee/crap is probably what we'd use the protection for and as long as that is covered, I'm sold on buying it. Good to know they don't find some way to exclude those.

We got it but never used it. We got the money back in the form of a voucher after 7 years. We got a new rug with the money. My only complaint is the voucher could only be used in stores and not online.
