Lupron side effects
I go back tomorrow to my OB/GYN to talk about Lupron for endometriosis. I am still so on the fence. Can anyone share their good and bad experiences with Lupron? I just still can't decide. The first dose is for 3 months so it makes me really nervous.

What dose will you be on? At a very low dose, you really may be fine. I found it made me moody.. a bit more emotional.. it made my legs feel a little funny.. but ultimately a low dose over a long period of time shouldn't be so bad. I was on it for like a month straight, I think at 5 units a day (maybe 10 .. ) ETA: It wasn't bad where I would say definitely don't choose that protocol.. It really was fine!!

The doctor said it one one shot in her office that lasts for 3 months. After 3 months I go and have a second shot for another 3 months. She said then I will have an IUI after my period comes. I will find out the dosage tomorrow.

I am currently on Lupron for IVF so my dosage is probably less than yours will be. For about 14 days, I was on 10 units of Lupron and I did not feel the greatest on it around day 4. I was definitely loopy from day 4-day 6. Plus day 5-11 I had a cold so I am sure that only exacerbated the loopiness. Since day 6 I have had no side effects (I am currently on 5 units).
The nurse made it seem like the two most likely side effects are headaches and night sweats.
