Lupron Help
I am pretty new around here. I am on Lupron which is so new for me. My past 3 failed IVF I did not have this. I know TMI but when will I get my period if at all? I have been in it for 10 days and nothing!! Should I call RE on Monday?  I am jus feeling soooo lost on this new med. Thanks!!!

Last time I awas on Lupron it took 9 days to get my period. Were you also on birth control pills? If so when did you stop. Are you waiting to get your period so you can start your stims? That is so frustrating. This cycle my doctor doesn't want me on birth control but wants me to start Lupron on cycle day 21 & then wait for my period to start stims. I feel like I'm going to be waiting forever for a period also. I heard some people don't even get a period on Lupron & might just have spotting. Hang in there through the weekend but I would call your doctor if you don't get it by then. Good Luck!

I am not on the birth control pills this time. And I am waiting to start the stims too!! Whoever thought you want to get your period!! I am going to call on monday and see what they want me to do. Good Luck to you also.

Am I insane? I thought Lupron was supposed to supress ovulation so you don't get your period?? I'm so confused!!!

This is what it did for me. I was on it for 6 months...once I stopped taking it, it took about 8 weeks for my period to come back.

I took Lupron for 6 months and after my 6th shot, it took 9 weeks to get my period. They used the montly shot after my surgery to control my endo.
I will start Lupron on day 21, but it's not a montly shot, a daily one. It's suppose to supress my system so I can start my first IVF cycle in Oct.
