Do you think I can still use a sling with Ava for when we're running into the store? They work on the hip, too, right? I bought one after I gave birth, but Ava falls out of it because I lost so much weight since then For 20 bucks, it might be worth it if I can carry her on my hip.

Yes lots of mom use the hip carry.
