lowering the crib mattress?

We lowered the mattress in DD's crib but now I can't get her into the crib without waking her up!

Anyone else have this problem?

Re: lowering the crib mattress?

I almost fell in w/ her one night. Lol. My feet came off the floor when I leaned all the way in trying to keep her asleep. Since then we have had to CIO. It is actually better this way. She cries a few mins, more like fusses while she gets comfy.

Yes, I am tall and I still have to go on my tippy toes and literally drop DS in. Poor guy! He doesn't wake up though!!

Haha, I'm on the short side too and I just put him in awake. I don't even lay him down anymore since he used to just stand right up when we put him laying down. So now I just put him in his crib, say goodnight, turn off the light and leave. He will walk around, play, etc., and eventually goes to sleep.

Me too.

I can sometimes kind of roll her on her side.

I'm 4'11", so it's really tough.
