low progesterone level?
Today I'm 7dpiui and went in for an estrogen and progesterone level check, and I got the dreaded call that my progesterone came back low (a 6). The nurse is ordering me endometrien (sp?) suppositories, and told me to take them 2x a day until beta, and if I'm pregnant to continue taking them until 10 wks. My question is, has anyone had a low progesterone level, and in turn found out they were pregnant? I'm wondering if a low progesterone level was the reason I've never become pregnant.

Re: low progesterone level?
I did have low progesterone when I got my BFP but unfortunately it ended in a chemical (no correlation so don't worry). My prog was fine last month and I got a BFN. Did you eat before your blood work? I read eating will fluctuate your prog. It also fluctuates during the day. I had a granola bar the time I got a low number - never again!
Good luck!!!! you are halfway there!!

Re: low progesterone level?
With my first IVF, I was already on progesterone inserts when I went in for my levels check (normal for my RE). I still had low progesterone and had to do an additional daily PIO shot of 1mL. I still got a BFP and my beautiful DD is two and sitting next to me right now. I was on the inserts til about 10wks pg and did the PIO shots til about 6 weeks.
