loving Seventh Generation dishwasher soap!
i put the baby's bottles and all components in the dishwasher. I was using my standard cascade soap, but i found it was leaving a little residue and I had to rinse everything when it came out of the d/w. The residue always smelled like bleach - have to say, i wasn't so happy about that on my baby bottles.
I found seventh gen on the clearance shelf @ BRU in Lake Grove the other day and gave it a shot - it's great! it has no bleach, no chlorine, nothing gross at all. There are days I only run the d/w with baby stuff in it and from now on, I'll only use the 7th gen!
I'm a convert

that's so funny I literally just threw away my 7th Gen stuff because it left residue all over my dishes! And went back to Cascade!

Re: loving Seventh Generation dishwasher soap!
I love 7th Generation products too, I use their dishsoap, kitchen cleaners, bathroom cleaners, etc.
I was the SAME way with dishwasher detergent...I noticed residue in bottles and the bleach smell from using my regular stuff very early on with my baby. That's what made me switch the dish detergent, we were trying to use up the Cascade even though I was using other natural cleansers elsewhere in the house. Though I don't like how the 7th Generation dishwasher detergent works in my particular machine (tried the powder and the liquid), so we use another all-natural one, Sun & Earth, that works really well.

I just posted that I didn't like their dishwasher detergents though I love their other products. I think it depends on the dishwasher!

Been using this for a long time. The box lasts forever. You only need to use a little at a time.

I could have written this WORD FOR WORD! I "converted" a few months back and it's SO much better! Pop the bottles right out of the dishwasher and don't have to worry about a ton of residue!! You can find it at Target pretty cheap, too!

Does it do well on regular dishes as well (cleaning-wise)? I'm so sick of the residue from Cascade!
