lost my mucus plug!
it;s hard for me to post here frequently since i am at work during the day - but i am definately and avid reader......
i had an internal at my 37 week appt on monday - spotted for a day and lost my mucus plug last night----- i called the dr and he said that was a sign of having the baby in a week or two..
im soooo excited we are almos there - im sure this has been asked before - bit you ladies that have been pregnant before has this been the case? a week or so?
i just dont want my water to break at work - besides that im READY and cant wait!

A friend of mine lost her mucus plug, and had the baby later that day...but I dont thing thats the norm..

Congratulations!!
I cant offer any advice, i dont know when i lost my mucous plug or when my water broke.. i just woke up with contractions and labor from there lol.

I never lost my mucous plug and my water didn't break! Well, in the hospital in labor of course the doc took care of the water thing...

my mp started to come out on a saturday and continued to come out for several days after. I had my daughter that Friday...so within 6 days baby was here. Good luck!

I lost my plug 4/21 and went into labor 5/7.
You could go tomorrow and then again you could wait around 2 plus weeks.
whatever the baby decides is what will happen.
1st pg was different , I lot my MP at 5:00pm and had the baby that same night.

I lost my plug at my 36 week internal and my water broke 3 1/2 hours later. Good Luck!!!

When I lost my mucus plug I didn't go inot labor for a while after that. I hope for you you go soon!

Lost mine too this morning! I called the dr even though they say it's no real emergency but I'll be honest when I first saw it I got concerned. This is my 1st pregnancy and I'm not sure what is supposed to come out and what's not.
I hope to have this baby within a day or two

that's how i was ------ i was like i know the books say this is ok but wowser...
still feeling fine - no signs of labor so just still playing the waiting game ---- im only 37.5 weeks so its ok if she cooks a little more -- she is measuring on the small side - so that is all good - --
we have another growth sono on friday to see the progress - two weeks ago at almost 36 weeks she was measuring 4 lbs 14 oz.. a little peanut!

i started losing my mucous plug at 36 weeks, 5 days and lost small pieces (i know, TMI!) throughout the next 2 weeks. went into labor at 39 weeks, 4 days. so losing the plug didn't exactly mean "imminent" labor for me. what tipped me off was bloody show (pink, then red). once i had that i was in labor within the hour.
