Losing weight?
I know most people experience weight gain while stimming and with the hormones, but in the last week, I've lost about 4lbs. I'm not doing anything differently with my diet or exercise.
I'm only on the progesterone at this point, but even still, that's a little excessive, isn't it? I'm a small frame so 4lbs is a lot for me.
Anyone else lose weight from the stimming and/or progesterone? Do I need to mention this to my RE?

Re: Losing weight?
I don't think the progesterone has anything to do with it...
I did read on the diet board that you have been trying to lose weight and changed your eating habits, so maybe your metabolism is just getting better

Re: Losing weight?
I lost about 5lbs my first IVF cycle, but that was just because I was really watching what I ate and excercised moderately.
I knew there was a chance I would gain weight on the meds, and already being overweight, I was afraid to gain anymore so I had started WW about a month before I started stimmiing. This way, if I gained the weight back while I was stimming, I wouldn't have been as upset over it. Not sure if that makes sense, but it works in my head

makes sense!
I have been watching what I've been eating for the last year and have lost 35 pounds and was worried that I would gain during my last cycle b/c of my need for comfort food
But, I did ok!

Re: Losing weight?
You were also very very nauseous recently, maybe that had something to do with your weight loss?

Yeah, I started WW in early March and started walking about an hour a day during my lunchbreak, but I've been doing that for about 10 weeks, consistently so I don't understand why so much weight lose in one random week?
Maybe I should just stop overanalyzing, and enjoy the weight loss!

That's really amazing! Kudos to you! And yes, I will. I figure, as long as I can't have my baby, I CAN have my appearance and health, right?

Re: Losing weight?
I lost weight my first cycle also. I thought that was so weird. But, I was really watching what I ate. I didn't do that this 2nd time around and I gained weight. And I cannot loose a pound. I have been exercising all week and watching what I eat and yesterday I put my "big cropped pants on" and they were kinda tight on the legs. Can't win.
Just enjoy it, if you can. Somehow I used to be obsessed with loosing weight and now its so not a priority. Maybe I should go back to that first obsession and leave IF alone for a while..LOL.

Re: Losing weight?
I lost 2.5 pounds on stims and another pound this week on progesterone. I think its more that I really don't have an appetite lately, very unusual for me I am small framed too and it usually takes me forver to lose that amount.
