Los Angeles - Hotels?
We have a wedding to go to in April at the Four Seasons Westlake Village. Mindy Weiss is the wedding planner
Four Seasons Westlake Village
We'll probably stay at the Four Seasons for the night of the RD & Wedding, but want to extend our trip and see some friends that live in the LA area.
Anyone have recommendations for hotels in the Los Angeles area?
Ideally less than $200 a night.

Re: Los Angeles - Hotels?
I stayed in Hollywood at the Grafton once. It was under $200 and worked out great! The rooms were tiny but we werent in there too much.
I also stayed at a Comfort Inn or something similar once when I drove in randomly and couldnt find anywhere reasonable to stay, it was a total DIVE, eww. Beware!

I stayed in "SHUTTERS" and it was gorgeous, right in Santa Monica on the beach. I am not sure about the price though but I really recommend it

We stayed in a town called Hermosa Beach, not far from Venice Beach - is that close to LA? I can't remember.

Grafton is my most favorite!!!
But where you stay depends on where you'll be the most. I'd stay close to whatever town that is.

Re: Los Angeles - Hotels?
When we were in LA this fall (Oct) we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Marina del Rey/Venice Beach. It was n walking distance of both.
It included free parking garage. We paid about $110/night and it included free breakfast each morning during our stay!
We HIGHLY recommend this place. It was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip (we were in LA for 4 nights). It was about a 5 min. drive to Santa Monica Beach.
When you research hotels, just bare in mind MANY LA hotels charge you for parking your car. That was our dilemma.
