Looks like we started a trend!
Today - TWO students transferred out of the class DD transferred out of yesterday! 
I guess they weren't happy there either!

DH told me today, that I totally missed a comment the principal said yesterday (i was talking to the asst principal as we were leaving)
He said that as we were leaving the office, the principal said something to the effect that "well hopefully this will serve as a wake up call for him" (referring to the teacher)
guess there's a history there with this idiot!

While it angers me that they've obviously had issues with this guy before and didn't take action, I'm glad that finally something is happening. Good for you!

i am so glad for your dd and the other students, as a teacher myself i find it embarrassing that a fellow teacher would act like this and jokingly or not tell a student to lie to their parents
and i loved the letter you wrote to the principal so professional and on point
you should be so proud of yourself and your dd for saying this was not a good teacher for her and of course not going along with his jokes because many students would

At my school I know for sure that administration wouldn't stand for that... maybe they will watch him more carefully now. He might even be asked to leave. What he did is unacceptable behavior as an educator n adult!

What he did is totally bizarre and inappropriate. I am actually shocked that anyone would see it any other way. Having a jokester personality does not justify this.
