Looks like we had a vanishing twin...
but the other baby is doing perfect! We were kinda expecting it as its heartbeat dropped and it's growth was slowing down. Last night's appt confirmed the sac was empty 
It's def a bittersweet moment. We tried our best to not be upset, YET be so happy for the healthy baby we do have  We believe everything happens for a reason.

a similar thing happened to me. one perfect heartbeat and baby, one empty sac. i was sad for a little while about the empty one but it didn't compare to the happiness over having a perfect one. my DD from that pregnancy is now 8m old and beautiful and perfect. a singleton pregnancy is generally less complicated than a twin one. celebrate!!

This is how we are feeling. We had a feeling this was gonna happen. We could'nt be happier about the healthy baby. The doctor said the same thing. Better to have one baby at a time.
