Looks like we are off to GREECE on Friday!
So yeah - this really happened kind of quickly. I received an email from Chris with our flight information to GREECE FOR NEXT FRIDAY!!! He apparently was tired of me hesitating, being unable to decide on a destination, and just dragging my feet about this trip.
So I was both   and   at the same time. We are flying into Athens, staying overnight at the Intercontinental.
The next morning we fly Olympic Airlines to Mykonos for 3 nights and staying at the Royal Myconian Ambassador & Thalasso Spa:

And, then taking the ferry to Santorini. It was so very EASY to book Greek Ferry tickets. I found this site from a Fodor's forum: Amphitrion Holiday. They have an office open 24 hours a day right at the Athens Airport so you pick up your tickets as soon as you arrive:

In Santorini we will be staying at Tholos Resort for 3 nights:

And then back to Athens for 2 nights.
Wow is all I can say. I have been to Greece countless times because I have tons of family over there, but never to a Greek Island since our family is from the Thessaloniki area. So I am super excited that I get to go as a TOURIST this time more or less, being I am not telling anyone that we will be there

I stayed at the Royal Myconian back in '01 - it is amazing!! Enjoy your trip!

Thanks everyone. Although I have been in tears all day today given the stupid high level travel warnings for Europe. We are flying into Athens through Paris (one hour layover) on Air France and I am so freaked out.

Please don't get yourself all upset about that. It's just a precaution and the government is covering their own azzes God forbid anything did happen. But NOTHING is going to happen!
Have an amazing trip. You can't live your life in fear and you certainly won't enjoy your trip if you do
If it makes you feel any better, we're going to India in a month and there's been travel advisories since the Mumbai terrorist attacks in 08'. Not gonna stop us from having a fabulous time!

I know. I just worry soooo much more now since I had a baby. I have literally been feeling sick over this for days. Do we go, do we change our route, do we go direct from NY, stay with Air France, switch carriers...  Thank you and I hope you have a fabulous time in India!!

We were in Greece for 4 weeks this past summer. Super hot weather during that time! You should have much more comfortable temps. Have an amazing time!

Oh I am sooo jealous. It was just about 100 every day we were there and the sun was unbearable. Stifling!
