Looks Like I have it again...so depressed
My last pregnancy was a nightmare. Bedrest from wk 7 till almost delivery due to Hyperemesis.
Well since last night i have been throwing up and today barely made it into work and since then its been coming. Breakfast was toast and thats gone- I just ate "cooked" sushi because its what I felt for but I just started burping and my mouth is salvating-so I am sitting here tyring to talk myself out of vomit mode.
My doc is ready to put me on bedrest again because he feels its all the stimuli around me that has me riled up in additon to the HCG hormones.
I've only been with the company 1 yr 7mths what do I do if he puts me on bedrest. I am so scared of getting fired.

I would immediately talk to your boss. Do you think they will be open to you working from home if you need to? How about Zofran?

I dont think you can be fired beacuse of a medical condition. I worked with a girl who was in your exact situation and she was not fired. She was on disability throughout her pregnancy and a temp filled her position.

BELIEVE ME i understand, as you know Im dealing with it too and work is my biggest issue right now.
I hope its just typical M/S and passes for you, I really do

They can unfortunatly. UNLESS you are entitled to short term and long term disability..then your subject to those rules and you could be covered for staying home for a LONG long time...
For me, I wasnt entitled to that, nor FMLA, so Im on shaky ground. If my NY state disability doesnt go through..I will be let go from my company unfortunatly.

The company has short term and long term luckily. I am just hoping its temporary and goes away sooooooooooooon
