Looking for opinions
I know his can go either way but I am now In a bind and need other moms opinions
My son who is 18 months came home from daycare w a 103 fever on Tuesday He has a fever straight thru from Tuesday until yesterday. My doctor said as long as he is fever free he is no longer contagious
As of now he is fever free, but is incredibly cranky and has a cold and now ofcourse his molars are coming in
I really can't take off of work anymore his week and my hubby and I been switching days. I do not have family member to help out right now either
I want to send him back this week
Would you ?

I always thought the rule was one day fever free before going back to school (daycare too I guess)

If he is fever free for 24 hours yes I would send him if you have no other choice.
If its just his molars and a cold making him cranky, I would say it's ok to go back.

Fever free for 24 hrs then my son goes. A basic common cold he will not stay home and def not for cranky cause of teeth.

DS had a fever last Sunday. He was fever free by 5 am on Monday morning. He was a crank for DH ALL day on Monday until I got home from work. We sent him to daycare on Tuesday and the teacher said he was fine (although he did not eat as much as usual).
I would send your DS tomorrow. By tomorrow, he will probably be less cranky.
