looking for new mom's to hang out with
Hi
I am a new mom of a 3 months old boy. I am going back to work part time starting feb 4th but I have plenty of free time. All of my friends either have older children or don't have any. I am 30 years old and I live in suffolk county. If anyone is interested in maybe a walk through the mall for some new mom baby chat let me know. I feel lonely here at home. I have been to the library but thats only once a month and gymboree is just too expensive right now. If your up for it let me know.

Hi....and congratulations on the birth of your son. He is beautiful.
I haven't met anyone on here myself, but alot of the ladies organize "playdates" for the kids. You should search around and see if anyone is meeting up anytime soon. From what I read, the playdates are very successful.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. Everyone is very friendly and you will always receive a response.

Start posting and you'll meet some really nice people on here. Eventually that will sometimes lead to a get together!

Hi.
Just wanted to welcome you to the boards. There are usually some GTGs (get togethers). Just keep watching for posts.
Im not sure where you are in Suffolk, but, on Wed. AMs there is story time at Barnes N Noble on 110 at 10:30. Also, at the Island 16 Theatre on Tuesday AMs at 10, they play movies for mom's and you can bring your baby. I think it's about $6. It's a nice program.
That's all I can think of right now.

Hi welcome and congrats! Your son is such a cutie! I'm in suffolk (haupauge) and I'm always up for a mall run!!  My son is 4 1/2 mos old.

We've been doing so Smithhaven Mall GTG from time to time. Keep a look out for them. Im in Nesconset. I have older girls and a 5 month old baby boy..Im always up for a mall walk!!!

Hi and welcome!
There are a few GTGs (get togethers) always ongoing so there are a few opportunities to meet other mommies. Usually all age groups participate.

Welcome and congrats!! I'm not in Suffolk but The Source Mall in Westbury is a great place to mall walk if you wanted to take the ride. FM me if you're interested!

Welcome! Definitely keep posting and attend a GTG and meet some Moms. I met one of my best friends here (well on LIW before there was LIF) and a bunch of other great friends too. We all have kids but we get along separate of the kids too esp now that the kids are all on different schedules with school and such.
Congratulations on your new baby!
