Looking for more contractor recommendations....

We've talked to Sierra, Larsen and Tarr's. All of them seem to have good ideas - prices vary greatly. Need to have a few more quotes to know who is off the charts, who's way too cheap, etc.

Also, any feedback on the above would be great.

Right now we're focusing on a front dormer - keeping the rear dormer but raising our roof to gain a full attic and adding a bedroom for .

We're in Nassau.

We used Forman Construction - they're in Massapequa...

I wish I had before and after pictures of our house. They did a PHENOMENAL job. We had a cape and and dormered it.

I just put a full dormer on my house in East Meadow and used Larsen. Their price was right and overall the work was good. Like any big job there are always unexpected issues.
But I have a big piece of advice if you use Larsen Do NOT let them give you James as your Foremann (sp?) he is one of the owner's sons and did not pay attention to any details. He had no control over the workers and kept referring to our home as a construction site rather than a home. We had to bypass him so the owner could finish the job.
Also no matter who you choose make sure you get everything in writing. Feel free to FM me with any questions.
