Looking for fun things to do w my 2 year old
DS is almost 2 & is a new big brother. I'm on maternity leave through December & I've been thinking it'd be great to get out of the house once or twice a week, just me & him. I've never been to a mommy & me class or a play place. I looked at Gymboree & it sounds like you have to buy classes for the month, is that right? I was looking for things we could go to just for a day, do something different another day, I'm clueless about all of this. Can I do any mommy & me classes one at a time? What play places do you ladies like where I can just show up? I'm in Nassau. TIA!!

Once Upon A Treetop is a fun place! I'm not sure where you are located, but it's in Plainview.

Looking for fun things to do w my 2 year old
Kiddie City in Glen Cove has open play starting from 10 am... also Once upon a tree top and le play cafe are both fun. Both times I went to Kiddie City it was empty, which I love, since it means not a lot of germs going around.

Another option we recently tried was the cradle of aviation..you don't have to do the museum..there is a play place where you pay $2.50 per person to play...we also did the 30 minute sesame street movie and it was nice...we also love Once Upon a Treetop
